Biography of Larry Blevins

Larry has more than twenty years of experience as a manufacturing executive and management consultant delivering business improvement and organizational transformation. He is experienced in applying current methodologies, tools and techniques to identify and eliminate profit leaks.  Larry is driven by practical, results based solutions and is a trusted partner to client's executive leadership. He brings executive level international and domestic experience in business diagnostics, operational excellence, business turnaround, change management and strategy execution to his clients.

Larry currently operates Blevins Management Consulting, collaboratively serving select manufacturing and distribution clients with Aslinger and Associates.  His roles prior to founding Blevins Management Consulting include executive consulting and practice leadership roles at IBM, Ernst & Young, Standard Register and Avery Dennison.  In addition, Larry held executive finance roles at Avery Dennison with responsibilities that included operational oversight, financial reporting and information technology.

Larry's current practice is focused on serving his clients using BSAVED, a proprietary business analysis methodology and tool set.  BSAVED has been utilized independently as a business diagnostic and in support of Lean Six Sigma initiatives. The BSAVED methodology has been applied successfully in multiple domestic and international client projects over the last decade with impacts exceeding $1 million in each instance.

Larry holds both bachelor and masters degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University.
